Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka Got Twins

The "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka were successfully inseminated in their surrogate. Fraternal twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott were born on October 12 and now live with their famous fathers in their Hollywood Hills home.

Harris, 37, told to People magazine about the surrogacy process, ”we found an egg donor anonymously through a hilarious process of looking at people's profiles and then an amazing surrogate who had helped same-sex couples before”. Burtka, who left the job as an actor last year to become a chef, added: "When we discovered it was the fraternal twins, we were excited”.

Fortunately for them, the procedure successfully seen their individual sperm takes, allowing them both to share in the process of parenting.
