The day after sports web site Deadspin.com posted foot-fetish videos of a woman who bears a resemblance to Rex Ryan's wife, both the Jets organization and its players have publicly come to support of their head coach.

Ryan also called it a "personal matter" in his daily press conference with reporters, and asked for that to be respected.

In one video, a voice that sounds like Ryan can be heard.

It’s not Coach Rex, it’s Uncle Rex. Ryan confronted the potential distraction head-on in this morning's team meeting, according to players.

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan says it's a "personal matter" and declined to talk about a "foot-fetish" report posted by the sports website Deadspin that show four videos of a woman who bears a close resemblance to Ryan's wife, Michelle.

The videos show a woman displaying her toes to an off-screen cameraman who, in one video, sounds a lot like the coach. During his news conference Wednesday, Ryan declined several times to discuss the situation.

Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said in a brief statement that he and owner Woody Johnson met with Ryan and the coach has their "full support."

Like everyone else, they considered it a personal matter.

"My wife's beautiful," Ryan said when asked about his wife. A few weeks ago, before the Jets played New England, Ryan compared his wife to Giselle Bundchen, who is married to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Ryan said he was "also married to a supermodel."

Most players declined comment on the foot-fetish report, but star cornerback Darrelle Revis supported his coach.

"Foot fetish? Whatever," Revis said. Last week, the team suspended an assistant coach indefinitely for tripping a Miami player and ordering inactive players to form a sideline wall.
