Reports are coming out that Suge Knight has been arrested in 2010…and many people are wondering if there is a connection to Tupac or Biggie Smalls. Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls’ death have haunted fans for years, and rumors were swirling today that Suge Knight may have been involved in the demise of both rappers.
So far, any possible connection that Suge Knight has to Tupac or Biggie Smalls seems to amount to nothing more than rumors. Tupac was killed in 1996 after a fight in Las Vegas between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon. It has long been believed that Suge Knight had ties to Tupac’s death because of his label, Death Row records, and now talk is surfacing that he may have had something to do with Biggie Smalls death as well.
Suge Knight Arrested On Warrant, Then Released
Suge Knight found himself in the news again recently, and as usual, its for legal problems.
The former Death Row Records CEO was arrested late Friday night (December 3) in Los Angeles after a warrant was issue for missed court appearances, reports TMZ.
The site obtained documents just hours before the arrest, which revealed that a judge had issued a $40,000 bench warrant for Suge in late November after he failed to appear in an L.A. court room for two traffic tickets.
He was reportedly picked up by police at around 11:30 p.m., was booked at the West Hollywood police station nearly two hours later, issued a citation, and was released, but only after he signed a notice that he would appear.
The whole situation stems from a traffic stop from September, where Suge was cited for driving with a suspended license and running a stop sign.
Knight once dominated the music industry as the CEO of Death Row Records, which boasts a artist roster that included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur ... and sold millions of albums.
These days, however, he only makes the news for an arrest, a lawsuit, and/or his financial problems.
